DS50 Derelict barracks WW2 Godley Head NZ

Up on Godley Head at the entrance to Lyttelton Harbour there are the remains of the services buildings used during WW2 when the fear was that Germany, or more likely Japan would invade NZ. The buildings have fallen into disrepair, but are still open to look at during walks on the hills.

It was a very misty day up there, so here's an image for Derelict Sunday.
