Fearless

Miss A woke up with a squeal when I whispered it was time to go on holiday and sat in the taxi with a mile-wide smile at 4.30am. Little D was far more interested in seeing the aeroplanes and was cock-a-hoop when we got to the airport. The Trunki's served their purpose beautifully with Little D riding on his and Miss A pulling her own luggage.

We arrived to 40 degree temperatures and hugely excited grandparents - what a lovely welcome - and didn't stop all day. We had great fun at the pool where Miss A showed her aptitude for swimming, doing lengths of the pool with her rubber ring. Little D was beyond excited and wriggled and giggled in the water, trying to break free to swim off on his own. He was particularly delighted jumping into the pool and whenever he got to the side of the pool, would run to a spot where there were no adults and try to jump in. Thankfully we were always one step ahead! The next Tom Daley in our midst, I think...

Despite the early start, the kids didn't go down til 10pm, exhausted but happy. So, wine anyone?
