A day at home today, when I hoped to get a lot done...hindered by a powercut just before 8am which lasted just over an hour.  Not long after, the water went off for 6 or 7 hours due to a burst water main...so I am just waiting for the phone to go off now ;)

Water came back on late afternoon, and is very unappetising...it looks like weak tea with bits in...I'm sure it's safe enough to use, and will be clearer once it has been flushed through.  One of those things we completely take for granted until something goes wrong.

I have heard the robin's lovely song through the day - it was doing some sort of fluffing up in the trees here :)
