Rockpool

Some low tides this week so visited Bembridge Ledge where the sea recedes a long way out revealing a normally hidden world of the sea bed.
The rock pools which are formed show a fascinating variety of colours and textures with dozens of tiny creatures to be seen.
The extra pic. shows the vast extent of the rocky shoreline which can be explored just so long as a close watch is kept on the tides. In the extra you may be able to make out the figure of a fisherman about one third in from the left horizon. Rather him than me.
