Man in a Suitcase

You have to be careful where you step in Edinburgh during August.

Taxis, bus and courier drivers despair as people wander all over the road in front of traffic. Completely oblivious to any danger.

It's a little less often that you find chaps lying in suitcases in the middle of the road.

But during the Festival anything goes.

Let's hope that austerity, recession and destitutiuon hadn't forced people to start living in luggage on the white line in the middle of highways.

Luckily for this chap it turned out he was one third of Three Half Pints.

No, I'm not calling into question his sanity (even though he was lying in a suitcase in the middle of the road). He's in a show of course.

Three shorter than average men (three half pints if you will) put on a slapstick show and they have had good reviews.

If you like a bit of slapstick and a laugh they're on at the Edinburgh Footbal Club on Leith Walk.

And now for the best bit...

Their show is free! They're part of the Free Festival.

Now isn't that good news in the middle of a recession?
