Its good to be bark (mini)

So here I am showing off in the Air New Zealand Koru lounge at Queenstown to a couple of the lovely ladies that run the joint.
There were impressed…Miniature stuffed dogs kno this stuff.
Ok Ok The Boss's cap was a bit over my top.

It was an adventurous trip. First off, the wheels on The Bossess suitcase had missed several service calls and rotation was not on their mind as The Boss draaaaged the case from the long stay carpark to the terminal (about 20 perspirational minutes). The Bossess is famous for travelling light so this included her “brief” case which on it’s own presented a substantial risk to the plane taking off at all.
But take off it did and then…on approach to Wellington with the wheels down, flaps down and all that stuff all the hair on my head stood on end as the engines roared, the nose and wheels came up and the Pilot came on to announce that The Bossess brief case would have to be jettisoned…….Errr well maybe it was something about the wind and it’s changeable direction but we should never let the facts get in the way.

Well 20 minutes later we had flown a big circle and inspite of the Bossess brief case made a slightly edgy landing during which The Bossess had looked out the window and found flags on the ground blowing the same way as the plane was going. Apparently this is not ideal she said, having spend some time working in aeronautical circles (not the same ones we had just flown) and being knowledgeable about this stuff.
Anyway it was a wonderfully warm and sunny day in Wellington and I am pleased to be here.

Oh big Hi to Hjarald wiif wiif wiif!
