View Down The Rhein From Above Kestert

This was a view that I could enjoy. Unlike the one earlier that I couldn't get to as it was too exposed for my fragile sensibilities. That overwhelming rush of information and adrenalin is not something that I process well.

Other than that it was a lovely walk through some very pretty countryside in super summer weather. We were with I&A and that always makes for a good day/evening - so thanks to them for the idea and making it such a good time.

The view here is lovely (I think) but the noise from the freight trains is hellish. There are tracks on both sides of the Rhein here and when a freight train goes through, everyone knows about it. And there a lot of freight trains. It's amazing the difference between them and the ICE (Inter City Express), in comparison the ICEs operate on Trappist principles.
