Ladder Shadows

On my way to babysitting today I went past this grand water tower in Goldthorpe and stopped to take a few shots. I have noticed it a few times and sometimes the sun has cast some nice shadows of the stair tower.

The sunrise this morning gave the concrete a nice glow. I like the substantial nature of the stairs - better than the usual ‘ladder’ bolted to the side of the tower. Worth a look LARGE.

I didn’t spot all the birds until I processed the image - I counted six. Really pleased with the  clarity of the image considering it was a grab shot from the car window (I was parked, not moving at the time).
