Dentdale

Day 6 of the Dales High Way, from Chapel-le-Dale to Dent.

There was no room at the delightful Old Hill Inn, where we stayed last time, so our holiday company arranged a taxi to take us to Ingleton for the night. Retuning to Chapel-le-Dale, the route skirts the side of Whernside passing Blea Moor Sidings.

It's easy walking and beautiful open scenery the whole way! (Although there is a steep climb up to 540m on the shoulder of Whernside, and the option for those more energetic than us to go over the top of Whernside.)

This is the view ahead before descending towards Dent.
