Weeping Slowly

With all the rain that has been falling around Australia, it seems strange to report that the Blue Mountains has received relatively little. Hence our mountain streams and waterfalls are a long way from their best. Perhaps the prettiest fall in the mountains is Weeping Rock, near the main Wentworth Falls. I have frequently seen it very much fuller than this in the past. Indeed it is true to say that on a good day the plunge resembles a curtain of water sweeping across a wide and curvy stage, such as one might once have found at a 1950s style Cinerama movie house. The rock was still weeping today however ... albeit more narrowly and slowly than at its proudest.
