TGIF

A very busy day that included collecting Juliet from the vet. She has grown in the two weeks since I found her and left her with the vet for hand rearing, and it seems she still prefers the bottle to the dish as demonstrated here by my friend, but she is old enough now (about 5 weeks) to come "home". Very poor quality photo taken under difficult circumstances but still my choice for the day, celebrating this little life.  Kitty, that we temporarily named Juliet (found on the balcony!) will live with neighbour colleague friend Elif, who already has one kitten just a couple of weeks older than we estimate this little mite to be, and so she is fully versed in bottle feeding and toilet training of infant kitties - so hopefully a happy ending for this little one. Others aren't so lucky.

This was the highlight in a very active and tiring but enjoyable and beautiful weather-wise day that finished at Bizim Tepe with friends for pasta and beer, and then back to Robin's for the first book club meeting that was more of a chat circle really.
