..... Lampang.

We went for a long drive this afternoon to Lampang, it is about 2  hours away over a mountain.  The road was very well maintained and modern.  Unfortunately by the time we got there most places were closing, so we had a drink and drove home.  I noticed a lot of road side vendors selling pots and was not that  surprised to find the main street decorted with large pots.  It started to rain a bit on the way back, but onlyma drizzle and it is back to hot again now. 

The temperature in Lampang is about 3 degrees hotter than Chiang Mai.  The temperature here has been around 32 degrees and sunny.

A worry here at the moment is the Zica Virus.  There have been 14 cases in Chiang Mia and a further 26 in Thailand.  We will be wearing plenty of insect repellent.
