Home on the range?

An isolated homestead with Tetons behind. This makes for a lovely scene but l can't possibly imagine living in such isolation; just think what it must be like in winter with blizzards and feet of snow.
Yesterday was an interesting day we tried to find some bears in the evening on a little road which is sometimes closed because there are so many of them getting berries to pad out with before winter hibernation sets in but none to be seen. We had a close encounter with a moose that rushed across the road in front of us and lept over a fence into a coral of horses causing mayhem. Today we have a long drive in front of us to Salt Lake city and an early start the next day for home.
