Peewit, peewit they cry!

A misty but beautiful morning .... wonderful conditions for a quick walk round the loch. Plenty of other folk around taking advantage of the fine weather.

The group of lapwings are back and have settled again in the two areas they frequent. I watched them this morning as they they made a couple of circuits before settling again on the rocks. When they decide to move they will complete a few more circuits and then settle among the vegetation growing at the other side of the loch ..... they are certainly birds of habit.
