All still green...

After a morning of jobs, I took advantage of some sunshine and had a pleasant couple of hours in Worsley woods.  I'd guessed correctly that there wouldn't be any autumn tints in the leaves, but was hoping for some fungi.  Apart from the usual brackets on the usual trees, there was the remains of a solitary earth ball and that was it.  Still the light through the leaves was beautiful - even if several of the dog walkers were a little bemused that they weren't in danger of scaring away anything I was photographing (though it was nice they were thoughtful enough to ask!)
