It somehow seemed essential to have pizza late this afternoon. I'm really delighted that gluten free options are so much better and plentiful than they were 30 odd years ago. However I can't honestly say that gf doughballs (see extra) are to my advantage. Or anyone else's for that matter. By the time my perfectly nice gf pizza with artichokes, olives and the like arrived I felt as if I'd eaten a ton of concrete. Lyn didn't seem to be having any trouble though so all I can surmise is that glutenous doughballs are a bit lighter in texture.
