SPOILT . . .

. . . for choice today is the final day of the Welsh-Themed Steam Gala on the NYMR. As with last Friday, there is so much to see, I  need to look for something a bit different. My main image shows the narrow-gauge locomotive Britomart from the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway. The tunnel it is emerging from is part of the original Whitby to Pickering Railway and has never had a steam locomotive pass through it in its 184-year history as the first carriages were horse-drawn.
Other images in the extras are Foxcote Manor . . .  a
Great Western Manor Class from North Wales . . . and Sit Tight . . . possibly the best view on the railway today.

I need to catch up with comments – see you soon.
Hope you all have a grand week ahead !
