Hentin Tatties

Another cracking day, warm and sunshine all day.

I ended up having a late night last night, so I've been a bit tender today!  After breakfast,  Julie informed me that we were all heading out to help friends on the croft.  A fine day for crofting, and Julie and Ingram had all of caain the sheep after lunch too.  Once the sheep were in the cro, it was time to pack up the caravan and head for the ferry.  A lovely drive down the road, and straight out with Sammy for walkies, to catch the last of the fine day.  A quiet night home with the telly.

Friends Leonard and Hazel were needing a hand on the croft, it was hentin tatties.  There was almost 20 folk popped by to give a helping hand, many hands make light work and great community spirit too :)  The tractor spun the tatties out, and all hands on deck and pick them up.  Taken at Gerratoon, Haroldswick, Unst.
