Rhyolite patterns exposed

These rocks are along the Governors Bay walkway, by the edge of Lyttelton Harbour.  I find the patterns interesting, but don't find it easy to get my 'eye in' to photograph them well.  They are similar to, although much less extensive than the outcrops on Onawe Peninsula that are popular with photographers.  I struggle there, too!
