Snowing

Lying in bed this morning at 6.45, hearing the rain on the roof, I was quietly hoping the ski area would be closed today. Sadly no. So off Adam I went, through the rain, for probably a very snowy day.

Made it to Porters, chains even on 4WD and yes, said snow was falling. Hard. Deposited Adam in his ski lesson and sneaked off to the café for a coffee and a catch up on the news. A few runs, then back to the cafe for another and a catch up with a friend. Skiing was pretty good.

Lunch once Adam had finished his lesson, then back onto the slopes. Snow getting thicker, and the skiing better. To cut a long story short, had an epic day, snow was fantastic. Only the first T-bar was open, but you could sneak into lower Bluff Face, and it was fantastic.

Home, in the rain, to dry the gear and pack it for my trip to Aussie. Tomorrow night I'll be staying at Perisher, in the snow.
