St. Ishmael's Church

I do like Blipping churches - and this one is a little gem.
The church lies to the south of the village of St. Ishmael, hidden in a small valley half a mile inland of Monk Haven in Pembrokeshire. It was built in 1100 AD with additions in the 13th and 14th Centuries and it was restored in the 19th Century. When it was built it was considered one of the principal dioceses of Dyfed under medieval Welsh law, second only to Menevia (now the modern St Davids).
It is also quite lovely inside (see extra).

Can I also say a big THANK YOU to all you Blippers who left such wonderful comments on my yesterday 1460 Blip.  "I love you all" :-) :-)
