Goodbye Lillehammer

The weekend trip has flown by so fast! Today Callum had another 2 training sessions (as usual), 3 hour easy run in the morning followed by another 1hr skiing focussing on technique. In a typical month they will do about 90hrs training... that's 3hrs every day! (I average about 40hrs/month).
The morning run was in frosty conditions, but glorious sunshine! We had hoped to meet up with other skiers to have a large group, however it seems everyone was on camps, so it was just Callum, his flatmate Scott, and I. We had a vague idea where we wanted to run, but by no means a concrete knowledge of the route. For about 80mins, Callum hyped up a marsh that we were going to have to cross, so I was prepared when we finally arrived. It was about 80m wide, and knee deep for most of it, but the deepest bit was waist high! Brrr! Shame I didn't have my phone to record it.
Blip is of Callum's house looking west down into the valley where Lillehammer is. Extra is of a thermometer outside his front door, it gives and indication of which wax to put on your skis based upon the outside temperature, handy!
He's currently running a crowdfunding page to try and raise money to buy 10 pairs of world class skis, he'd welcome any donation!
