Happy Birthday to the great Stevie today, in my opinion, just about the tastiest guitarist to have ever been.

Sadly not with us anymore of course, (he would have been 62 today), but he packed a lot in to his 35 years, and new clips & rare gems still surface from time to time to wow me all over again.

This isn't his preferred Strat in the pic.. because I don't have one, but it is a Fender, and that'll have to do... and I did have a blast through a couple of 'easier' SRV songs for fun (I used to do a couple in my teens playing in local blues bands). More of 'rusty fumble through' than a blast, but still... great fun, magic tunes.

Keep on rocking Stevie...
