My love of books

The reason I began writing my blog via Blipfoto on 1 January 2015 was to provide an outlet for my love of writing. And - as any writer knows - a willingness and desire to write begins with a love of books.

So my Blip 'roots' start with books. Thank you to Dollykgray for hosting this month's Mono Monday topic of Film Noir with today's theme 'Roots'. Next week's theme 'Double Indemnity' will be a toughie...

The photo is a shot from one bookcase in the Castle Library which contains over 3,000 books. It's my favourite room in the Castle.
