The sky looks almost like a marbled screen, like we used to do with dropping oils on water and floating paper in it. Or at any rate something like that!

Windy today and I am glad we got the burning done yesterday. I seem to have started some discussion among blippers as to whether one should call the fire department. Here, you are just never allowed to burn in town and in the county one should inform the sheriff's department before you start. We do have some times of year when there is a burn ban if it has been very dry.
