Old Man

of Coniston, not Mr Rat.
Clear blue skies this morning, though quite chilly, and as it warmed up a few fluffy clouds formed.
First we went to use my spot prize with a visit to the Lakeland Motor Museum - loads of vehicles and some  local history.
Then back to Coniston and a walk up and down the Old Man, which got pretty warm. We walked up to the Walna Scar parking area (pic taken on the way and a slightly different angle) and then up the grassy slopes to the top, much quieter this way. The views were great, paragliders flew overhead and the sun stayed out.
We went down the main route for most of the way and had good reflections in Low Water as we went past (see extras).
In the evening we walked to a pub on the other side of the village and walked back under a wonderful starry sky.
