Apple Harvest

This weekend No 3 goes off on her yearly Brownie Pack Holiday, a two night stay in a hut with open fire, bunk beds, sausage sizzle etc. 
I was asking Brown Owl for a copy of the drop off, pick up times etc when No 3 reminded me that it was tradition in our household to provide the 'owls' with apple crumble! 
So we now have the apples, taken from our smaller tree (yet to employ the long poled fruit picker) and I have shopped for the 'crumble' ingredients.
