Hornsea

Chester played at North Ferriby this evening so I went over to Humberside with Rick early in the morning so we could do some geocaching before the game.

We arrived at Hornsea just before lunch and the weather was fabulous for the start of October. After doing several caches around Hornsea itself we drove inland a mile and found some caches on a five mile walk.

We arrived in North Ferriby in time for the essential visit to the pub before watching Chester win 1-0. That is 6 games unbeaten now and they haven't conceded a goal in 578 minutes and have risen to 10th in the table, a tremendous achievement given our limited resources.

Todays blip was taken on the front at Hornsea which looked a pleasant town in the sunshine. The extra shows the Chester players thanking the fans for their support at the end of the game.
