A Mop Top

 I have been looking for different things to capture with a wide angle shot as all I seem to post for WidWed are landscapes and seascapes and I am starting to repeat myself.

So, here is a tree -  Cordyline Australis, a tree endemic to New Zealand and commonly called a cabbage tree. With its tall straight trunk and dense rounded head, it is common throughout New Zealand . For the Maori, it was a source of food and fibre for textiles, ropes, fishing lines, baskets, capes and even sandals.
