OWL LIGHT

The owl carvings in the cemetery have been "adorned" with feathers poked into the splits in the wood, not very visible in this photo. It makes them look like owly versions of those Renaissance portraits of St Sebastian, peppered with arrows. I don't know who or why it's done, but I hope it's harmless to them, and they haven't been otherwise vandalised in all the years they've been there.
