Caley at The Cour

Mhairi had worked out in advance of this morning's walk that if we did about 6.5 miles she would exceed her previous best accumulated mileage for a week.
Of course if this total were ever published it would draw allegations of abuse of performance enhancing drugs from top Olympic trainers and claims that it was just not humanly possible. Well at risk of courting controversy Mhairi has now done 40 (Forty) miles this week.

Joking aside this has just been through the usual morning dog walks, none of which exceed two hours in duration and often less than an hour. Mhairi is sometimes joined by her friend J who has Bob, Caley's brother or myself if working from home mid week or of course at the weekend. It was a little mile post Mhairi was pleased to tick off. Well done.

Our excursion was another variation of an infinite number of loops at Leanachan. It was warm, dry breezy and while we could generally see the mountain tops it was a little hazy so the sunshine that filtered through to us was quite gentle.

This is Caley as we walked along the side of The Cour. He has extracted a huge log from the forest and is charging full tilt with it. Blippers need helmets as much as mountain bikers.

(I have just checked this image seems to enlarge fine.)
