The Landing

It's almost 950 years since perhaps the most defining moment in the history of these islands. This new sculpture on the beach at Hastings (against a back drop of the repaired and rebooted Hastings Pier) conceived by artist/sculptor/blacksmith Leigh Dyer crowd funded (and yes I'm in that crowd) made by Leigh and the #blacksmithsonthebeach commemorates this anniversary. It is a wonderful piece (as are all Leigh's pieces dotted throughout the town).
