Lord Robert

After a day having coffee and a bit of shopping :-) sis and I headed off to Beverley this evening.
We went to Beverley Minster to a talk by Lord Robert Winston. He has long been a bit of a hero of mine (since Child of our time) and when his name appeared on the list for the Beverley Literary festival I booked us tickets.
He spoke about the dangers of relying on genetics , exploring the history of eugenics and how it is still going on under our noses. A really inspiring man and thoroughly enjoyed the talk. The Minster was pretty impressive too
