Cellar Door

Actually more of a ‘crawl space’, but 'cellar door' sounds so much nicer than ‘crawl space door’, don’t you think?  

Anyway, browsing through my new camera Owner’s Manual during yet another sleepless night, I discovered a setting for “Low-Key”, and this is my first image using that setting.  Though technically not SOOC, all I’ve done is cropped a bit and added a little vignette. Looks much better enlarged on dark background.

My extra is a Milky Way image from 10/3.  I processed the image in LR using a tutorial I found on www.lonelyspeck.com.  I have a lot to learn about astrophotography, but I’m really pleased with the way this image turned out.
