Sooty

Sooty and Sweep arrived today as point of lays. Sooty is a Silver Sussex and is bold and lovely. Sweep is a Bluebel and didn't come out of the hut much. This is Sooty exploring the inside of the polytunnel which is her winter quarters.

They were born in Belgium and moved to the isle of Skye as day old chicks. Now at 3 months they have their forever home.

Foxy lady has been a little worried by it all and there is lots of gesturing going on but no fighting which is a really good thing. Hopefully they will all settle down in a day or so
