Tiny Tawny

Another fungus field meeting today. It was on my old patch where I spent many happy years fungus hunting before we moved just over 3 years ago. As well as my co-leader, only 2 people came today, but we had a very pleasant and productive day, both in the woodland and in the meadow. This year seems to be very good for Grisettes. This one Amanita fulva, the Tawny Grisette, was a very small but perfectly formed specimen.
