Glasses for the Chef's Perk

Another National Trust place today - Petworth House, nestling in the South Downs in West Sussex.

The house is renown for its collection of paintings, including a large collection by J.M.W. Turner who was a frequent visitor. However, my favourite part of the house has to be the kitchens, and as the National Trust have now relaxed their policy on taking photos indoors in many locations, I was spoilt for choice. However, having missed a couple of days for the august challenge, this photo of glasses found in the Chef's sitting room next to the main kitchen is my choice.

The room itself was large, airy and comfortable, andI had thought this might have been the Housekeeper's or Butler's pantry - but no, the Chef apparently ranked above them, so this was his room.

I had to up the ISO as it was quite dim and hand held, so its a bit soft, but I like the post card on tin box and the key hangin gon the hook in the background.
