Tatws Sir Benfro

The only picture I took today.
It's a publicity shot marking a donation to the cafe of four sacks of Pembrokeshire potatoes from a local grower's co-op, Puffin Produce, that markets spuds and other veg grown by farmers in the county and elsewhere in South Wales.
Pembrokeshire's temperate climate is celebrated for the growing of early potatoes and the coastal zone of the far west is devoted to their cultivation. We use lots in the cafe: jacket spuds are usually on the menu and they are invaluable in bulking out meat-free meals especially when so many people are averse to any gluten (wheat etc.) content.

So that's our autumn menu sorted: tatws, spuds, pommes de terre, kartoffeln, papatas - take your pick!

On the left our lovely project manager Corinne, the others are Puffin staff members, also lovely and enthusiastic about our enterprise. We're grateful for their generosity.
