Gerry Brownlee is the Minister responsible for the post quake rebuild.
He made sure that his many homes were repaired and rebuilt many years ago.
For those of us still waiting for resolution - be it repair or rebuild - when we complained about the delays he called us "carpers and moaners" because he wants to present an image of Christchurch being in the post-recovery phase.
To do this, he would have to ignore everyone who lives in the Eastern suburbs who are still waiting for their rebuilds.
