Bramber Castle

Had a difference of opinion with Mother over whether she needs a walking aid.  She says she can walk quite well, which she can, but not very far. I had a light bulb moment and realised what she needs is a "seating aid" for those moments when she refuses to go any further in case she can't sit down and rest.  This is Mother sitting in a folding chair in Bramber Castle having just climbed up some steep steps and refusing to go any further.
The castle was quite impressive for a ruined castle , high up on a hill with wonderful views and a deep dry moat round the edge (extra) See also English Heritage plan
