Where Eagles Pass By

Autumn trees below, cloudy skies above, and our aerie nestled in between. It is from here that I take many of my photos. This afternoon I stepped out onto the deck just as an eagle flew by. I captured a few images and one of these is the extra photo. It was a treat to watch this bird with such a massive wingspan. In just a few beats of its wings it moved across the sky and disappeared behind the trees.
