not swimming, just wading

Summer arrived today and I had an early 2 hour walk along the river with the dog and the camera.

I then spent a couple of hours at RHS Hyde Hall with mother attending a lecture on agapanthus before eating a bbq lunch outside.

Struggled to pick a picture tonight but have gone with this one as there are 2 black tailed god wits in the foreground> I saw huge numbers of these today and the length of their beaks is amazing.
