Coach Talk

My daughter is enduring a difficult senior year on the volleyball team. She is the only senior on the team committed to play in college next year, yet she sits on the bench while a sophomore setter gets virtually all of the playing time. Tonight after a match she asked the coach why. Of course she got some BS response.

I give her a ton of credit for her determination and drive. She works hard in practice and plays well when she gets a chance to go in. (She's good!) It's just hard to change a cold heart. As a parent this is a difficult situation. :-/
