Jeannie 'mong the Heather

Up to meet the daughter in her flat. I tell you, that cat of hers is well overdue its little operation. I asked her how you train cats to behave and apparently you can't. Clearly not an ideal flatmate then. And she tells me they live for 20 years! What was wrong with a hamster like she had when she was young? Anyway, good chats, and she was very open about the next couple of years of her life and her plans. I may have to spend some money.
After, out to meet the sis at the old gaff to find out how the works are coming along to get the house fit for habitation again. I see that the latest piece of legislation we have to comply with is a legionnaires risk assessment. All very sensible, I’m sure. And a bargain at £80.
