Market Choice

The one advantage of getting to the market early in the day is that there are fewer shoppers, less bustle, and the best choice of fresh produce whether it’s fruit and veg, meat or fish.
It was like that today soon after 8am in Salisbury. Few shops are open at that time, but the Saturday market is generally in full swing, although today there were one or two stalls still being erected.
But then sunrise was barely an hour earlier than the time I was there, so small wonder there were fewer people and the market perhaps was not quite in full swing.
Not that the place was by any means deserted and I found myself having to queue for an early morning espresso.

Still, tomorrow is another day. And Sunday at that — perhaps chance for a lie in?
