This little Royal Bayreuth porcelain bowl is my father's most precious possession and he can tell of how his father bought it for his mother when they were on honeymoon at Colwyn Bay. Yet he could not remember his grandson bringing him chocolates a few minutes earlier nor that he had already had breakfast. So many people have to live with an awful disease and it is so sad to witness the deterioration of the mind and body of previously very fit relatives and friends.
