Sands of Morar

Today's the day .......................... to kick sand

On days like today when the sea is blue and the sun is making it feel very pleasantly warm for October, the sands of Morar could hold its own against any beach in the world.

We love it here - and everywhere we look we are reminded of happy memories gathered over the years.  We could see the islands of Rhum and Eigg lying offshore.  That's where we spent our honeymoon - and started our married life almost exactly 43 years ago.

Will was in his element today - perched in the sand dunes at Camusdarrach Bay painting one of his favourite views ........................


PS I've messed up with my blips of 8th and 9th October - they should be the other way round?!
