Banoffi Pie

Another fine autumn day so - allotment digging suspended and off with the spaniel for another 12 mile walk instead. We walked from Crowlink on the Seven Sisters cliffs over the Downs to the village of Jevington where the banoffi pie was 'born' (unfortunately the Hungry Monk has cosed down but the plaque is still on the wall). Then it was uphill onto Lullington heath nature reserve (chalk heathland) where there were dozens of small copper butterflies, up to Winchester's Pond (see panorama in Extras), and down through Friston forest back to the coast.
