So our crack team of German Ukrainian & Polish workers came and got rid of the old bathroom.  It's quite a change.  And weirdly, the room looks much smaller with nothing in it.

Apparently in less than 2 weeks they'll be finished.  I'm struggling to see how that can possibly be but this is what they do.

I had regular updates from G on how things were progressing and they made me very glad that I was in the office.

And I'm delighted to report that the toilet with the ledge (I discovered that it's actually called a Reverse Bowl Design) is now gone.  If we ever have a poo on a ledge in this house again then something has gone terribly, terribly wrong
