Chambord

We visited Chambord today. I really like all the turrets/towers and the fact that at a glance you think it's symmetrical but it really isn't. Also there's a great double-helix staircase inside. 

As it was nice weather we stayed for longer than we'd planned and went for a walk in the grounds. All rather nice really. 

Also, one of the last official owners could've been reinstated as king of France but refused to use the red, white and blue flag of the revolution so it didn't happen. I was slightly amused that they've put the flag right on the front.
